Back to Catalog main page

Main goals

specifically for this sprint

  • BBMRI Catalogue installed on new server. (repeat the install with standalone server (des), https config, )
  • Extend lifelines catalogue with detailed information :
    • Categories: information about the measurements, label, description, dataType, unit, categories, verification status, derivation info (all in English)
    • main page : general statistics, latest changes from server on welcome page
    • Admin menu : drop/clean database option update from local version
    • contact info,
    • feedback,
    • revisit the tree classes
    • make a small design on how measurement would look : attach as a file the extended (paper) description.
  • Download of selected measurement
    • Instead of 'order' people just should be able to download *as PDF or Excel *we log all downloads (using existing 'order' tables)
      • for the admin we can then make a plot showing how many times a measurement was selected
  • add a jquery search box in the tree
  • versions of the catalogue
  • BBMRI :download data on old catalogue and import on new
  • fix testbed for bbmri (NOT safari bug)

long term goals

  • Merged the different catalogues (bbmri , LL, ..)
  • maybe if bugs are resolved , hide Login from left menu
  • Separate catalogs for panels: children (<18), adults, elderly(>65). (Of course largely overlapping.)
  • Derivate is a value that is derived from one or more other values using some protocol.
  • Verification is the procedure used to correct erroneous data entries.(Just a flag indicating whether it's verified)
    • For each Measurement we want to know if it is 'verified' = 'NO, NA, YES'.
      • Each Measurement can have multiple verificationRule explaining how verification is done (describing how the rule works)
  • Protocol details as workflow
  • some barchart on how many data items are ordered per request (so what items are popular).
  • What kind of tools is used to measure bp, how old, where can you order materials, (sample tracking?)
