• keep the query expansion using ontologies (which indeed need to be locally copied).
• add a configuration option that disables the feature in the plug-in constructor
  • - Then people don't have to fiddle with the OWL/OBO files if they don't like it
• .....a little manual that explains what you need to do to get it running
  • (so either disabling the query expansion or downloading the necessary files).
