Welcome to the MOLGENIS open source project

MOLGENIS is a lightweight software framework that evolved from bioinformatics. Our mission is to help bioinformatics developers to produce great and userfriendly applications researchers want to have. Currently you can use MOLGENIS to generate a database backend and rich UI, R, Java and web service frontends.

This project is supported by University Medical Center Groningen, Groningen Bioinformatics Center GBIC, European Bioinformatics Institute EBI and the Netherlands Bioinformatics Center NBIC.
